Dates: Apr 20-24, 2022 plus pre- and post-trips
Location: South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, 8545 S Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78413

$25 Registration required for all festival program/field trip participants! Allows registration for field trips, 3 free presentations ($5 for extras) OR a free Workshop, a free Raptor Project presentation, and five days admission to South Texas Botanical Gardens. More information & Registration

  • Pre-trip to the Rio Grande Valley April 16 – 19, $850
  • 4/20, 2-4 – Shorebird Identification, $15
  • 4/21, 1-2 – Warblers – The Colorful Gems, $5
  • 4/21, 2:30-4:30 – Hawk Watching 101, $15
  • 4/22, 1-2 – Identification Challenges of the Texas Coast, $5
  • 4/22, 2:30-4:30 – Finding Birds 101, $15
  • 4/22 6 PM – Keynote: What It’s Like To Be a Bird (Sibley), $15
  • 4/23, 1-2 – Native Plants for the Birds, $5
  • 4/23, 10-12 – Photography $15
  • 4/23, 3-4 – The Resilient Whooping Crane, $5
  • 4/20-21, 1 and 4 – Raptor Project
  • Post-trip to the Upper Texas Coast and Pineywoods April 25 – 28, $850

All birds walks and guided birding trips are approved. The only U-drive trip that is approved is the Skimmer trip on 4/24 8-12, $85.
