The Texas Master Naturalist program is a unique volunteer organization providing certified, skilled volunteers to take part in improving and protecting Texas natural resources and natural areas. The program is a partnership among Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and some 370 local partners with over 40 chapters and more than 8,000 volunteers. The Mid-Coast Chapter includes Aransas, Calhoun, Goliad, Jackson, Matagorda, Refugio, San Patricio, and Victoria Counties along the Coastal Bend of the Gulf of Mexico. It is a confluence of ecologies with great biodiversity, precious natural resources, and environmentally important areas. Here our chapter members concentrate their efforts to protect, enhance, and restore as well as share, enjoy, and celebrate all the natural wonders.

Our Mid-Coast Chapter is incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide education, outreach, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within our communities. Please join us in these efforts or donate to our cause.
