Woody Woodrow of USFWS will cover information on estimated counts and tips and tricks he uses in the field. We will learn some good skills that can be applied to rookery monitoring on Chester Island or any other rookery. After a break for a sack lunch, we will head out to the water (weather permitting) for an hour or two.
This opportunity to get on the boats to survey Chester with Woody will help us experience counts as well as have a chance to ask questions in the field. We will have VFH radios so that the group can ask questions easily if we need two boats. Contact Kari Howard or call her at 409-223-4777 for more information. Please click here to register.
